Unity in the Church: Paul’s Wisdom for Settling Strife
Looking around at all the pain and disagreement causing daily strife in our nation, many of us feel overwhelmed with the constant discord. Coming to a place of peace may seem nearly impossible but it’s not. Thousands of years ago, there was extreme tension in the early Church in Corinth because, like many of us in America right now, they could not agree on the best way to live. The result was chaos and constant offense. Thankfully, Jesus is the Prince of Peace; and He never intended for us to be confused about what is right, what is wrong, what is foolish and what is good.
The first chapter of 1 Corinthians provides a still-relevant blueprint for what Christians can do when there is disagreement.
